Andhra Pradesh Volunteers Set to Launch Statewide Protests

Volunteers from Andhra Pradesh’s gram and ward secretariats are gearing up for statewide protests starting tomorrow. Despite promising ₹10,000 monthly salaries and job security during his election campaign, CM Chandrababu Naidu has allegedly failed to deliver, even six months into his tenure.

The State Volunteers Association has outlined innovative protest strategies to pressurize the government into fulfilling its promises.

Planned Protest Schedule:

  1. January 2: Submission of petitions at gram and ward secretariats.
  2. January 3: Kneeling protests and symbolic begging at district headquarters.
  3. January 4: “Back to Walk” protest highlighting broken promises by Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan.

Association President G. Eshwarayya stated:
“If the government fails to address our issues in the upcoming cabinet meeting, we will escalate our protests. Volunteers deserve adequate salaries and job security.”

Government Under Pressure:

The volunteers aim to spotlight their plight and urge the government to act promptly. The protests are expected to intensify if their demands are ignored during the January 2 cabinet meeting.
