Amit Shah’s Andhra Pradesh Visit: YSRCP Leader Pothin Venkata Mahesh Criticizes the Trip

YSRCP leader Pothin Venkata Mahesh has made serious allegations about the visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Andhra Pradesh, stating that the people of the state have gained nothing from his visit. He criticized that instead of demanding the implementation of the promises made by the central government in the bifurcation act, the visit was used to tarnish the reputation of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Tarnishing Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Image

Pothin Venkata Mahesh, speaking to the media, remarked that there was no benefit for Andhra Pradesh during Amit Shah’s visit. He pointed out that despite the central government’s promises under the bifurcation act, nothing has been done for the state’s welfare. Instead of focusing on these issues, he claimed that Amit Shah was using this visit to target the personal character of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy for political gains.

He further commented, “Instead of focusing on fulfilling the promises made by the central government under the bifurcation act, they are using these words to target Jagan and attack his leadership. This is a baseless attempt to create a negative image of the Chief Minister.”

Welfare of the People or Political Gain?

The YSRCP leader alleged that the focus of this visit was not the welfare of the people, but rather political maneuvering. “Under Jagan’s leadership, Andhra Pradesh is progressing, but Amit Shah’s visit didn’t bring any support or aid for the state,” he said.

A Message for the Public

Pothin Venkata Mahesh further stressed that such actions only deepen the divide between political leaders and distract from real issues concerning the state. He encouraged the people of Andhra Pradesh to stand firm and continue to demand their rightful entitlements, not letting such political tactics derail their progress.
