Registration Charges Revised Across the State, Except Amaravati: Minister Anagani Satya Prasad

The Andhra Pradesh government is set to implement revised registration values across the state starting February 1, 2025. Revenue, Registration, and Stamps Minister Anagani Satya Prasad announced that a comprehensive exercise was conducted before finalizing the new values. However, registration charges in Amaravati capital region villages will remain unchanged.

Growth Centers to Witness Higher Charges

Areas identified as growth centers with market values up to 10 times higher will experience an increase in registration charges.

Reduction in Certain Areas

In some regions where registration values currently exceed market values, charges will be reduced to align with the prevailing market conditions.

Accusations Against the Previous Government

Minister Satya Prasad accused the previous government of large-scale land encroachments, facilitated by revenue officers (MROs). He assured that illegal land grabbers would not be spared and pledged strict action against guilty officials.

Committees for Resolving Land Issues

To address land disputes comprehensively, the government plans to set up committees involving collectors to study issues related to 22A lands, G.O. 596, and four other critical areas.

The new registration values aim to streamline land-related processes and address discrepancies, with the government emphasizing accountability and fairness.
