In November 2024, the Kutami government issued a memo strictly prohibiting political, religious, wedding, and other similar gatherings in government school premises. However, in a clear contradiction to their own orders, the Jana Sena Party (JSP) has now announced that they will be holding a political meeting at the ZP High School premises in Somala Mandal, Punganuru Assembly Constituency.
This move raises serious questions about the government’s consistency in enforcing rules. If such restrictions apply to others, why is the ruling alliance not following the same guidelines? This clear case of double standards has sparked criticism from various sections.
