YCP Announces Fee Struggle Protest in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: The YSR Congress Party held a meeting with coordinators from seven constituencies in NTR district, led by Devineni Avinash, the district president. The main focus was to plan a strategy against the anti-people policies of the alliance government. As part of their efforts, YCP also released the poster for the “Fee Struggle” protest scheduled for February 5.

During the meeting, Devineni Avinash accused Chandrababu Naidu of betraying students under the guise of the Talli Ki Vandanam scheme. He announced that, as directed by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, YCP members will rally from the YCP office on Besant Road to the Collectorate to demand the clearance of pending fee reimbursements.

Mondithoka Jagan Mohan Rao, Nandigama constituency coordinator, criticized Chandrababu Naidu for breaking his promises and accused him of failing students. Malladi Vishnu, the Central constituency in-charge, vowed to continue the fight until the fee reimbursements are cleared and demanded action against colleges harassing students.

Nellaguntla Swamidass of the Tiruvuru constituency also slammed the alliance government for crippling the education system. YCP leaders called for mass participation in the protest to pressurize the government to settle the pending fee issues.

The meeting was attended by senior leaders including Vellampalli Srinivas, Ruhulla, Mondithoka Arun Kumar, and others, who also urged party workers and students to join the February 5 protest.
