TDP Government Cancels House Sites Allocated During Jagan’s Rule!

Crackdown on Illegal Sales and Purchases of Government-Allocated House Sites

In a major decision, the TDP-led coalition government has announced the cancellation of house sites allotted during the YSRCP regime. The government has issued directives to reclaim house sites that were either sold or purchased illegally. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has instructed district collectors to identify ineligible beneficiaries within 15 days and submit a final report.

Survey Accelerated – Identifying Ineligible Beneficiaries

Revenue officials have begun verifying house site allocations across districts, ensuring that only eligible beneficiaries retain their plots. Data on beneficiaries from the previous government is already available with revenue authorities, and a new village-level verification process has been launched.

The government has set a strict deadline from February 10 to 15 for officials to complete the survey and submit their reports. Collectors have been instructed to expedite inspections in all villages, cross-check beneficiary documents, and investigate whether any house sites have been illegally transferred.

Reevaluation and Site Cancellation Process

Officials are personally visiting villages to verify whether the house sites are still with the original beneficiaries or have been sold. Additionally, they are rechecking identity proofs, land documents, and transaction records to ensure that only genuine beneficiaries retain ownership.

Post-Survey Actions:

✔️ Submission of final reports within five days
✔️ Government to reclaim illegally sold house sites
✔️ Recovered lands to be reallocated to new eligible beneficiaries

Impact on Beneficiaries – Political Repercussions?

This decision is expected to impact thousands of beneficiaries who were allotted house sites under the previous administration. If implemented, many could lose their government-allocated plots, sparking potential political debates and opposition.
