Vijayawada: Former Gannavaram MLA and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Vallabhaneni Vamsi’s wife, Pankaj Srini, has been taken into police custody. On Thursday morning, Vijayawada West police arrested Vallabhaneni Vamsi in Hyderabad. As Pankaj Srini was traveling from Hyderabad to Vijayawada to meet her husband, police stopped her vehicle near Nandigama Y Junction.
Police Block and Redirect the Vehicle
Police intercepted Pankaj Srini’s car on the road, forcibly removed a person sitting in the front seat, and then placed the Kanchikacherla Circle Inspector (CI) inside the vehicle.
When Pankaj Srini questioned the police about the incident, they did not provide any clear response. It remains unclear where Vallabhaneni Vamsi’s wife was taken.
