Renowned filmmaker Tammareddy Bharadwaj has raised serious questions about Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, reminding him of his past promises regarding justice in the Sugali Preethi rape case and the 30,000 missing women cases.
Tammareddy took a direct jab at Pawan Kalyan, asking, “What happened to the Sugali Preethi case? What happened to the 30,000 missing women cases?” He recalled that Pawan, during his political campaigns, had repeatedly mentioned these issues and vowed to take action once in power. However, even after assuming office, no concrete steps have been taken, he alleged.
Furthermore, Tammareddy criticized Pawan Kalyan for his earlier accusations against the YSRCP government regarding the missing women cases. “You claimed that 30,000 women had gone missing. Now that you are in power, has your government launched any investigation into this?” he questioned.
His remarks are seen as an attempt to put Pawan Kalyan under pressure, questioning whether he will fulfill his pre-election promises now that he is in power. The comments have sparked discussions in political circles, with many awaiting how Pawan Kalyan and the Jana Sena Party will respond to these allegations.
