Tuni: TDP leaders in Tuni are being accused of using rowdy tactics to intimidate YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) councillors. The situation escalated when TDP leaders allegedly tried to kidnap YSRCP councillors who were on their way to the Municipal office.
TDP goons, armed with sticks, gathered in large numbers at the Municipal office, raising concerns over the safety of the councillors. YSRCP leaders are strongly condemning these undemocratic actions and are calling for immediate action from the authorities.
The incident has sparked outrage, with many pointing to the lack of law and order in the region. The ruling party is being blamed for fostering an environment of fear and violence, particularly in light of the upcoming Municipal elections.
YSRCP leaders are demanding that the District Collector and Superintendent of Police take swift action to ensure the safety of their party members and uphold democratic values. They have also urged the local authorities to intervene and put an end to these unlawful practices.
