CPI’s Massive Protest March from Hindupur to Puttaparthi, Demanding Housing for the Poor

Hindupur: Hundreds of CPI (Communist Party of India) activists from Hindupur marched towards Puttaparthi today, demanding housing and land rights for the poor. Led by CPI Hindupur Secretary Kanisettipalli Vinod Kumar, around 400 party workers participated in the protest.

CPI’s Key Demands:

✔️ 3 cents of land for the poor in rural areas and 2 cents in urban areas
✔️ ₹5 lakh financial aid for house construction
✔️ Immediate completion and allotment of TIDCO houses
✔️ Land pattas (ownership certificates) for poor families living in huts

CPI Warns of Intensified Protests

Addressing the gathering, Vinod Kumar emphasized that the government must act immediately to provide housing for the underprivileged. He warned that if their demands are not met, CPI will escalate the agitation.
