The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has set up a special task force to help social media activists who have been illegally detained or arrested. This move, led by party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, aims to provide crucial support to activists who face issues due to their online activities.
The task force will offer legal help, provide moral support, and work directly with activists to build their confidence. It will coordinate with party leaders, district representatives, and the legal cell in each district to ensure timely and effective support.
This initiative is part of YSRCP’s commitment to protecting its supporters’ rights, especially amid growing political pressures and concerns about online intimidation. The party stresses that this task force will help activists continue their work without fear of retaliation.
In a related issue, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy also expressed concern about the recent attack on Narreddy Lakshma Reddy, allegedly by TDP supporters in Julakallu village, Palnadu district. Jagan personally spoke with Lakshma Reddy, who is recovering in Palnadu Hospital, to offer support. He also contacted Dr. Chintalapudi Ashok Kumar, overseeing the treatment, to ensure the best care for a quick recovery.
YSRCP remains committed to supporting its activists and ensuring justice for those affected by political violence.
