Does the Red Book Not Apply to Kammas? Mylavaram TDP Workers Question

The “Red Book” has been a prominent topic in Andhra Pradesh politics. TDP leader Nara Lokesh has often mentioned it as a tool to hold those who harassed TDP workers accountable. He assured that anyone breaking the law to target TDP members would face consequences. However, Mylavaram TDP workers are now questioning whether this promise was mere rhetoric.

Controversial Meeting Between TDP MLA and YSRCP Supporter

In a recent incident, TDP MLA Vasantha Krishna Prasad from Mylavaram met Paladugu Durga Prasad, a close aide of YSRCP leader Jogi Ramesh, to exchange New Year greetings. This has sparked outrage among TDP cadres, as Paladugu Durga Prasad had been previously jailed for his alleged involvement in attacks on TDP’s office and the residence of party chief Chandrababu Naidu.

Dissatisfaction Over Ticket Distribution

TDP workers in Mylavaram have voiced their discontent over the party’s decision to grant Vasantha Krishna Prasad the ticket instead of senior leader Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao. Many argue that such decisions are weakening the morale of grassroots workers who have fought tirelessly for the party.

Appeal to Nara Lokesh

The TDP cadres are urging Nara Lokesh to address this issue. “Is the Red Book only a tool to target others? What about justice for us, who sacrificed so much for the party?” they questioned. The workers are calling for immediate clarification and action to ensure fairness within the party.
