A Smuggling Drama Unveiled in Palnadu
In a sensational case, Balakrishna from Tungapadu village in Rompicherla mandal of Palnadu district orchestrated a cinema-style liquor smuggling operation. Balakrishna purchased a mini lorry and modified it with secret compartments to transport liquor discreetly.
Liquor Smuggled from Puducherry
The operation involved procuring large quantities of liquor from Puducherry and transporting it to Tungapadu. However, the plan was foiled during routine vehicle inspections by excise officials. Upon examining the vehicle, they discovered liquor bottles hidden in the specially crafted secret compartments inside the lorry.
Three Arrested in the Case
Excise officials arrested Balakrishna along with two accomplices involved in the smuggling. The officials have registered a case and are continuing their investigation into the smuggling network.
