Chandrababu Naidu Deceived Women with False Promises: YSRCP Spokesperson Shyamala

YSRCP spokesperson Shyamala launched a scathing attack on TDP leader N. Chandrababu Naidu for his history of unfulfilled promises and deception of women.
Addressing the media, she criticized Chandrababu for making grand promises without the intent or ability to fulfill them.

Chandrababu, during his tenure, misled women with schemes like Super Six, bond papers, which turned out to be fraudulent. She asserted that a case under IPC Section 420 could be filed against him for deceiving women.
She further said Chandrababu has betrayed women in 2014 by announcing DWCRA loan waivers, only to leave them disappointed. “Chandrababu exploited the trust of women and repeatedly deceived them with empty assurances,” Shyamala stated.

The YSRCP spokesperson also lambasted the opposition for halting welfare initiatives like the Amma Vodi introduced by Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. “Thousands of mothers and students have been waiting for this support, yet TDP leaders irresponsibly obstruct such welfare measures,” she said.
Shyamala questioned the promises made by the TDP leadership, including Lokesh’s announcement of a job calendar by January 1, 2025. “There is no clarity on the number of jobs or when the calendar will be released. This is yet another example of misleading the public,” she remarked.
She also criticized TDP’s failure to implement schemes such as free bus services and the “Deepam” scheme, which left Rs. 4,115 crores pending. “Where are the festival assurances and wedding gifts they promised? TDP has consistently prioritized self-interest over public welfare,” she said.
Shyamala pointed out that despite knowing that implementing their promises would require over Rs. 74,000 crores, Chandrababu made hollow commitments. “Now, they conveniently claim a lack of funds. Why make promises you cannot deliver?” she asked.

The YSR Congress Party remains committed to exposing the falsehoods of TDP and fighting for the implementation of welfare schemes for the people of Andhra Pradesh.
