TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu termed the tragic stampede incident at Vishnu Nivasam in Tirupati as deeply unfortunate. Expressing condolences to the families of the devotees who lost their lives, he stated that it is difficult to pinpoint who is to blame for such a situation.
“We had already suggested deploying adequate police arrangements. The police assured us that they would handle the situation. Unfortunately, this tragedy occurred. All we can do now is mourn the loss,” Naidu said.
The TTD Chairman promised a thorough investigation into the incident and assured that strict measures will be taken to ensure such incidents do not recur in the future, prioritizing the safety and well-being of devotees.
