Industries Flourished Under Jagan’s Rule – Central Data Debunks Opposition Claims

Contrary to allegations that no industries were established under YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s government, Union Minister for Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman has presented official data proving otherwise. Responding to a query in the Lok Sabha by TDP MP Putta Mahesh Kumar, she stated that 15,635 new companies were registered in Andhra Pradesh over the past five years.

📊 District-wise Company Registrations:

🔹 Visakhapatnam – 3,076 companies
🔹 Krishna – 2,564 companies
🔹 Guntur – 2,164 companies
🔹 Tirupati, Eluru – Lowest registrations

📆 Year-wise Company Registrations:

2020-21: 2,488
2021-22: 3,243
2022-23: 2,953
2023-24: 3,664
2024-25: 3,287

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Investments

The Union Minister also revealed that between 2018-19 and 2022-23, Andhra Pradesh received ₹3,707.43 crore under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives from various companies.

TDP’s Allegations Proven False?

TDP leaders have been consistently alleging that no industries were established under Jagan’s administration. However, official data from the Central Government itself contradicts these claims, confirming that 15,635 new companies were registered, attracting significant investments to the state.

With these statistics, the claim that “No industries were established under Jagan’s rule” appears to be a false narrative.
