Demolition of Sri Avadutha Kasinayana Ashram Sparks Outrage in Kadapa

Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh – The demolition of Sri Avadutha Kasinayana Ashram in Badvel AC, Kadapa, has angered devotees and religious leaders. The ashram, known for helping the poor and elderly, had existed for decades.

The state government, following orders from the Central Environment and Forest Department, carried out the demolition. The previous YSRCP government had tried to regularize the land, but the current TDP-JSP coalition, with Pawan Kalyan in charge of the Forest Ministry, proceeded despite strong protests.

Devotees and Swamijis question whether this aligns with Sanatana Dharma. Many accuse the BJP-led central government of failing to protect Hindu interests, despite YSRCP’s attempts to find an alternative solution.

Critics demand answers from Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu Naidu, who have spoken about religious issues in the past. BJP also faces questions about why it supported the demolition despite requests to compensate the land elsewhere.

With ongoing protests, the future of the ashram remains uncertain. The issue has raised concerns over political interference in religious matters.
